Wecome!
Greetings, fellow MI Committee members!
I thought this might be the easiest way for us to muse about using MI in assessments, rather than load up our email inboxes!
Goal Reminders:
Our overall goal for the MI Committee is to support our use of MI in meaningful ways.
About the MI and Assessment Subcommittee:
We will look at our PEPs (presentations, exhibitions, performances) and try to make sure that we are offering kids a variety of intelligences through which they can show understanding.
We also want to answer these questions: Are our assessments authentic? Do they demonstrate genuine understanding? Are we able to determine kids’ grasp of content material? Do we assess their use of the intelligence as well? How can rubrics help us in this process? How can we translate PEPs into percentage grades, if needed?
